CancerTrials.be is designed to help patients and healthcare professionals search for relevant cancer clinical trials available in Belgium.
The platform brings together information from major clinical trial registries, including ClinicalTrials.gov and the Clinical Trials Information System (CTIS), and transforms complex study information into a more structured and accessible experience.
The goal is simple: reduce the barriers between people looking for clinical research opportunities and the studies that may be relevant to them.
Using AI to improve clinical trial search
One of the key developments behind the new CancerTrials.be platform is the use of AI-powered technology to extract and structure relevant information from clinical trial records.
Clinical trial registries contain a large amount of valuable information, but finding the details that matter can require navigating complex terminology and extensive study documentation.
