We are looking for patients who would like to perform a user testing campaign on a website contains has information on how to find clinical trials. The aim is to understand if the content is understandable and to assess the ease and user friendliness of the navigation tools. A compensation for your time is foreseen.

When?

The meeting will be held online at a date to be determined  and will last about two hours.

Our objective is to gain a deeper understanding of the patient experience along the patient journey.
In this way we strive to obtain more information about the patient’s needs in order to further improve support of COPD patients.

Compensation is provided.

All meetings and discussions will be performed online, so you won’t have to travel to in order to participate. All you need is Internet access.

What is a patient advisory board?

 A patient advisory board is a meeting where patients discusss pecific topics from a patients point of view. The aim of an advisory board is to obtain meaningful insights as to how patients experience specific aspects of their personal patient journey. Advisory boards will focus either on the patient journey, in which patients are asked to describe how they experienced their care path. Or other topics such as feedback on brochures, website or mobile applications.

How to participate?

Are the meetings virtual or in real life?

The patient advisory boards and user testing happens both virtually and face to face. If virtually, we will share a link to an online platform to participate in the meeting. You will just need an internet connection and a computer or tablet.

Do I need particular skills to participate in a patient advisory board?

No, there are no specific skills required. We do ask you, however, to be open and communicative, while respecting the opinion of other patients. During an advisory board or focus group, participants try to explain their experience or give feedback in an objective manner. We also might ask about your emotions, how you feel.In this manner we strive . All of this might help to understand the needs and expectations of patients better.

What happens with the information I provide during a patient advisory board?

Before participating, we will provide you with information as to why we are doing this, and what happens with your data. No personal data will be shared with third parties. The information that you share will be analysed and summarised in a report, without mentioning personal data. We also ask you to sign a contract  where we explain what happens with the data.

Are there benefits by participating in an advisory board?

There are no medical benefits by participating in an advisory board. Advisory boards are not intended for medical advice. By participating, you will undoubtedly gain more insights into your own patient journey, which might help you to trigger new questions. But it does not have any medical benefit.

Will I be screened in order to participate?

Yes, we will organise several phone calls to understand your profile and to make sure we can match you with the right patient advisory board.
